Edmund Carr offer a specialist accounting service to GPs and other medical professionals. Our involvement with this sector dates back to the founding of our accountancy firm in 1953, over which time we have accumulated a wealth of experience and knowledge in this area. We have acted for many of our GP practice clients for well over thirty years and know from their comments we offer a good comprehensive service to GPs.

We are members of AISMA (Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants) www.aisma.org.uk and the UK200 group of accountants, www.uk200group.co.uk both to add to our existing knowledge and also to maintain our high professional standards.

Our GP specialist, partners Debbie Wakefield and Francis Whitbread, and manager Alison Wagerfield, all take a “hands on” role in dealing with medical practices.

We also have our own financial services company, EC Financial Services Limited, which is run by David Carr. David has been in financial services for many years and has an excellent knowledge of a range of financial products as well as a good understanding of the NHS pension scheme.
