The burden of adhering to regulations on the financial reporting, taxation and other activities of a charity are not always straightforward. Your accounts need to be prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice for Charities (SORP), and you may need an audit or Independent Examination depending upon the size of your organisation. You may need tax advice, VAT advice, preparation of management accounts, forecasts and budgets, bookkeeping and even payroll services for your staff.
